SUMMARY:The New Old Member's Outing
DESCRIPTION:Come to WaWaSum Lodge to live the dream!\n(Bring your sleeping bag for the bunks!) The new Old Member’s Outing runs May 5 through May 7 and is open to all Club members. \nCapacity: is 29 members for this 3 day event. Over night accommodations cost $50 a night *(subject to 2024 MSU possible price increase). \nArrive: May 5th   Burgers and Brats will be served off the grill at 7pm.  You are encouraged to check-in early and get some fishing in before dinner. \nFish:  May 6th     Breakfast at 7:30a and the rest of the day is yours.  Perhaps plan a float with a friend and guide\,  or simply hook up with friends and explore.  Lunch and dinner will be on your own……….but desert will await you upon return. \nCheck Out:  May 7th     Breakfast again at 7:30a.  Plenty of time to still get some fishing in before check-out.  The New Member outing will follow on May 8th.  Based on availability of beds\,  you may be able to extend your stay by checking with Glen Easterbrook\, event chair for the New Member outing\,  regarding cost. \nMore info to be provided at a later date.  Reserve your spot now by contacting Wayne Glessner (wayneglessnersr@gmail.com) ! \nTotal Cost:  2 nights lodging\, 1 dinner\, 2 breakfasts all for $145

The Michigan Fly Fishing Club will be joining forces with the Huron River Fishing Association to teach all things fly tying! Todd Schotts will be presenting information on how to get started fly tying\, Dan Walker will be demonstrating advanced flies\, and Sybil Hunter will be working with a team of tyers from both organizations helping attendees tie their own fly to get them started. \nThe event runs all day.
