This is the place to visit often since it will alert you to the next significant club activity or important news that you need to know.
Our club has two general membership meetings per month from September through May. Typically the first meeting of the month is a presentation meeting, in which a guest speaker is invited to present a fly fishing related topic with the goal of informing and educating the attendees. Presenters include recognized fly fisherman, local fly fishing guides, university professors, conservationists, authors, and fly tiers. During the summer months of June, July and August there is a single presentation meeting.
The second meeting of the month is an activity meeting. The activity meeting is designed to allow members interested in fly casting, fly tying, and rod building to learn or practice those crafts. Members well versed in these key fly fishing areas are available to assist new and seasoned members to hone their skills. Both the presentation meetings and activity meeting are open to the general public and visitors are welcome and encouraged to join us for these meetings.
Also during the months of September through June there is a Michigan Fly Fishing Board Meeting that all members are welcome to attend. See “Upcoming meetings” for a full schedule.
