Jim DuFresne’s End of the Trail Farewell Tour started November 7, 2023. A Michigan Fly Fishing Club member and publication editor of MFFC’s The Evening Hatch has attended the Midwest Fly Fishing Expo at the author’s booth signing his specifically Michigan books.
In Twelve Classic Trout Streams in Michigan, Jim DuFresne ties in his passion for fly fishing.

The Hype
This winter Isle Royale National Park: Foot Trails & Water Routes, Jim DuFresne’s classic guidebook to Michigan’s Lake Superior park, will reach the milestone of being in continuous publication for 40 years. On that note Jim decided it was a good time to wrap up his guidebook career, having written almost 50 different titles or new editions.
