In the winter of 1983-84 the guidebook, Isle Royale National Park: Foot Trails & Water Routes, was released and quickly became known at the park as the “backpacker’s bible,” there is also great fly fishing there. This winter the book will reach its 40th year of continuous publication in various editions.
