Speaker Meeting – Jerry Regan

Jerry Regan is starting us off back at our Clarenceville Middle School venue!

Jerry is a third generation commercial tier, originally from Grayling, Michigan. He professionally presents programs about historical flies indigenous to the Grayling area. Most of the flies he ties are from all-natural materials that he personally collects and dyes.

He has taught fly tying classes for over 40 years and been a guest tier and speaker at many trade shows in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana and Canada. Jerry’s most favorite show being the Michigan Fly Fishing Club’s Midwest Fly Fishing Expo, of course.

Along with the historical flies that Jerry has saved, he has (sometimes through trial and error) created several flies that will be in the Grayling area for quite some time. Jerry is also a former guide on the Au Sable and Manistee rivers.
