THE 3RD ANNUAL MFFC 2023 STRIPER FLY FISHING OUTING
MYSTIC, CONNECTICUT & LONG ISLAND SOUND
SEPTEMBER 24 thru SEPTEMBER 30, 2023
Anglers will enjoy fly fishing for Striped Bass, Blue Fish and False Albacore with Lead Captain Jack Balint and guide team Captains Ralph Noyes, Steve Burnett, Greg Snow. Our outing will accommodate from 4 to 6 angling pairs and as many as 3 to 5 days of guided fishing for each pair.
The Striper Outing has been an unequivocal success for fishing AND catching. This could be your first experience with new fish species, new techniques and new fishing venues.
Total angler cost for will range between $1300 to $1700 depending on the number of anglers in our cohort and the number of guided trips an angler pair selects. Trip costs include 6 days lodging at The Taber Inne of Mystic, 2 guided fishing boat trips, 5 catered dinners by Mystic Market East and a team shirt. Car travel, lunches, more than 2 guided trips, marine licenses, and tips will be each traveler’s personal expense.
SEPTEMBER 2023 RECOMMENDED ITINERAY
Sept 23, 24 Angler pairs depart Detroit for Mystic, CT with an overnight in Pennsylvania.
Sept 24-Sept 30 Up to 4 days of guided fishing by boat & open days for relaxing or shore fishing.
Sept 30 Depart Connecticut for Detroit
Refundable guide deposits of $200 for each angler are required to hold our dates so please remit your deposit by Feb 10 to reserve a spot in the boats and on the trip.
PRELIMINARY PAYMENT SCHEDULE
Payments by cash or check:
- FEB 2022 $200 Trip reservation & guide deposit
- JUNE 2022 ~$500* 2ND payment for 50% down
- Aug 2022 ~$700* Final payment
- Estimated Total ~$1400* Total cost, tax & fees, 2 guided floats included
*Note: 2nd, 3rd & total depend on the number of anglers and guide trips reserved by Feb 2023.
