When: April 6, 2024, from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
Where: At the Lowe’s Yurt Outdoor Education Center
3577 Sleeth Court, Commerce Twp., Michigan 48382
What: Annual early season trout angling on the upper reaches of the Huron River. Dust off those fly rods, seal the wader leaks and join MFFC for a day of pre-season fishing.
Provided: Coffee & donuts. Plus Walled Lake Outdoor Center will graciously provide a large pot of hot water at no additional charge.
Bring: Rain, snow, sleet, or sunshine the event goes on. Bring rain gear and warm layered clothes because the yurt is not heated nor air conditioned.
Don’t forget: 2024 MI Fishing License. (A CO has been known to show up!)
