Wednesdays On the Water Non-Meeting Meeting – Summer Tour 2024

NON-MEETING WEDNESDAY’S ON THE WATER FISHING
“Summer Tour of 2024”
Location 3
Host – Todd Schotts, Ken Harfoot, and other volunteers to help
Location – Will be various lakes & rivers around the Detroit Metro area that has small craft accessibility, possible wading, possible fishing piers/docks, and possible renting of watercraft.
Times – 5:30PM till park closes.
Objective – We will be organizing on Non-Meeting Wednesday’s fishing various local lakes & rivers within the Metro Detroit area to have our club members spend time fishing together. The lakes/rivers we will focus on are locations that can accommodate small watercrafts, along with possible wading, fishing piers, and renting of watercraft from the parks if possible. The goal is to give members the options for various ways to fish and have a great time. Hope to see everyone out on the water!!
NOTE – BELOW LOCATIONS COULD CHANGE DUE TO CONDITIONS OF THE WATERSHED
July 3rd …. Proud Lake Recreation Area (boat launch & maybe some wading)
- Will need the State Park Pass
- Species: Largemouth Bass, Panfish, and Pike
- Meet at the North Ramp at Bass Lake Rd (the south ramp is closed for the holiday)

July 17th… Bishop Lake – Brighton State Rec Area (watercraft, wading, and rentals)

- Species: Largemouth Bass, Panfish, and Pike
July 24th…. Gallup Park & Gallup Park Boat Ramp – Ann Arbor (watercraft, shore fishing, & rentals)
- Boat Ramp off Fuller Rd
- Bass, Pike, Panfish, and other species
- Rentals until 6pm
- Lots of areas to fish from shore & ponds are available to fish.
July 31st… Huron River – TBD
August 7th… Meeting Night in Northville
August 14th… TBD
August 21st…TBD
August 28th… TBD
