Wednesdays On the Water Non-Meeting Meeting – Summer Tour 2024

NON-MEETING WEDNESDAY’S ON THE WATER FISHING
“Summer Tour of 2024”
Host – Ken Harfoot
Location – Delhi Metro Park
Times – 5:00 PM till park closes.
Objective – We will be organizing on Non-Meeting Wednesday’s fishing various local lakes & rivers within the Metro Detroit area to have our club members spend time fishing together. The lakes/rivers we will focus on are locations that can accommodate small watercrafts, along with possible wading, fishing piers, and renting of watercraft from the parks if possible. The goal is to give members the options for various ways to fish and have a great time. Hope to see everyone out on the water!!

August 21th… Delhi Metro Park
We can meet up here and either fish through the park or move to another access point (Tubbs Rd and Huron River Dr) based on interest and conditions. Look for the yellow dots. No kayaks this week, wade only access.
Todd’s Two Cents: Delhi is good fishing, especially down by the railroad tracks towards Osborne Mills and up after the rapids. This is a top water fishing area. If you end up at the Huron River and Tubbs, there is great fishing down from the bridge and around the corner. I like using small poppers, Robert’s Yellow Drake or my Griz’s Wang Dang Doodle Ephoron. I have used Chris Helm’s version of the foam predator in white and yellow there with great luck.
