Outdoorama MFFC tying is part of outreach and education. We staff a booth at Outdoorama teaching young participants to tie Wooly Buggers for fishing, and guiding them through fly rod casting on the pond. Volunteers are needed for hourly shifts staffing our kids activities booth.

Youth School provides every thing your young fly fisher needs to have a positive experience on the water! It is open to young people age 7-16. Topics include: safety, etiquette, fly rods, reels, lines, leaders, casting and tying. We are seeking someone to spearhead this event in 2026. Click through for details.
