FLY CASTING SKILLS DEVELOPMENT
FACILITATOR TRAINING WORKSHOP
Saturday 15 June 2024
9-11:00 AM facilitator training
1-3:30 PM FCSD workshop for public (to be facilitated by the morning trainees)
The FFI fly casting skills development education program is sending Sarah Trenschel and Russ Carpenter to present Facilitator training for this event as part of the international roll out of the Fly Casting Skills Development program that they helped develop. This workshop is focused on facilitating an FCSD event and making it a fun, educational, and engaging program that can help anglers practice with intention and improve casting skills.
Facilitators that attend the morning workshop will have the opportunity to put new skills into practice in the afternoon when we welcome local anglers to a facilitated FCSD event in the afternoon.
This is a free workshop and is open to anyone that is interested in facilitating this program.
Please familiarize yourself with the FCSD program before attending – facilitators should be able to make all the bronze level casts within 1-2 tries to demonstrate to participants.
