Help represent MFFC at the Outdoorama! As part of outreach and education for the MFFC, we staff an activity booth at Outdoorama where Club members teach young participants to tie Wooly Buggers for fishing, and guide them through fly rod casting on the pond.
Hours are: Thursday 1p-8p; Friday 12p-8p; Saturday 10a-8p; Sunday 10a-5p
Volunteers are needed for these four days at Outdoorama. People are needed to help kids tie flies (no prior experience necessary), try their hand at casting a fly rod, help set up, help tear down, and help co-chair the general organization of things.
Each fly leaves on an expo flyer to keep it safe from stabbing anybody on it’s ride home.
Parking is $10. If needed, parking fees can be reimbursed after the show.
